This video is very interesting because it describes how scientists in Europe are developing a type of assistive technology that will allow individuals to operate certain types of machinery with their thoughts. This idea seems to be from a science fiction movie but it appears that this idea is recent years has actually become a reality. This new type of technology will allow individuals who are immobile to become more independent and will allow them to lead more normal lives because they will not require contest aide from someone else. I feel this is just the beginning of some of the great steps we will be taking to improve the quality of life for individuals with disabilities.
